Party Wristband & Check-In

When you arrive at 4 PM with your party ticket, visit the designated wristband pickup location (usually in Adventureland or Town Square Theater) to collect your special wristband. This wristband grants you access to exclusive areas, entertainment, and character meet locations during the party hours. Keep it on for the entire evening!

Guests report collecting 200+ pieces of candy in a single night. Each station hands out 1-5 pieces per visit, and there are stations throughout the entire park. Pro tip: Bring a large pillowcase or tote bag—a regular trick-or-treat bucket will not be enough!

Teal Pumpkin Project

Disney participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project! Look for blue/teal colored pumpkin markers at certain trick-or-treat stations. These stations offer allergy-friendly alternatives to traditional candy, including:

• Non-food items (stickers, toys, pencils)
• Nut-free candies
• Gluten-free options
• Allergen-labeled candy

If your child has allergies, ask a Cast Member for locations of teal pumpkin stations before you begin trick-or-treating.

• Start in Frontierland at 7:15 PM (right after party opens)—you'll beat the crowds to the best stations
• Bring a large pillowcase or canvas tote—regular buckets hold maybe 50-75 pieces before getting full
• Divide and conquer: If you're with family, split up and cover more ground (meet at a specific spot at specific times)
• Hit less popular areas first—Tomorrowland and Liberty Square are sweet spots (pun intended)
• Visit Main Street last—it's most crowded 8-10 PM but empties out after 10:30 PM
• Check for duplicate stations—some areas have multiple candy handout points, so don't skip them
• Stay until close—final 30 minutes (11:30 PM-midnight) have minimal crowds

Overlay Strategy

Take advantage of these overlays during your 4-7 PM early entry time! Ride Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean before the 7 PM party officially starts, then you can focus on entertainment, characters, and trick-or-treating during the main party hours. These rides are still available during party hours, but the early entry gives you a head start with shorter waits.

Disney allows guests of all ages to wear costumes during the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. However, there are important rules:

• No full-face masks for adults — You must be able to see your face. Eyes, nose, and mouth must be visible. Partial masks (half-masks, eye masks) are okay
• Kids under 14: Full-face masks are allowed
• No weapons: Real or realistic-looking weapons are prohibited. This includes realistic guns, swords, knives, and bows
• No offensive costumes: Avoid anything that Disney deems inappropriate, offensive, or scary (full zombie makeup might be asked to tone down)
• Disney character costumes are encouraged! Many guests wear official Disney character outfits

• Secure loose pieces: Attach capes, hats, and accessories securely so they don't fly off on rides

• Light rain: Most party guests stay, making lines shorter! Use this to your advantage
• Heavy rain: Seek shelter. Covered areas: Adventureland, Tomorrowland's covered walkways, Pirates of the Caribbean interior queue
• Entertainment pauses: Outdoor shows may be delayed or cancelled temporarily. Check with Cast Members
• Trick-or-treating continues: Candy stations usually keep operating (many are covered)
• Bring a poncho: Much better than an umbrella which you can't carry on rides
