The ride uses 3D screens and individual spring-loaded shooters to deliver a competitive carnival-game experience: each rider has their own gun and score, and the shared vehicle rotates through five different mini-games.

After a queue themed as Andy's bedroom (with carnival-game-style decorations), you put on 3D glasses and board a shared vehicle (4 riders per row, 2 rows). Each rider has a spring-loaded shooter with a pull cord — pulling fires a virtual projectile.
The vehicle rotates through five carnival-style mini-games — popping balloons with darts, breaking plates with eggs, hurling rings at aliens, tossing baseballs at saucers, throwing pies at clown targets. Each game is timed (about 60 seconds). Hit targets and your score ticks up; miss and nothing happens. The ride ends with a final score displayed on the vehicle's monitor.
Toy Story Mania! is a comfortable Lightning Lane Multi Pass pick. Standby waits run 35-65 minutes most days. It's not as competitive as Slinky Dog Dash, but it's a solid mid-tier LL choice.

First hour after rope drop. Toy Story Land is the closest land to the entrance, so most rope-droppers go straight there. Aim to arrive at the Toy Story Mania entrance within the first 20 minutes of park open for under-30 wait.
